PBP Racketeers complete win and inch closer to playoffs
A new men’s doubles team for the PBP Racketeers Wednesday evening completed a splendid 2-1 victory in a rain-delayed and twice-rescheduled Great Valley Corporate Tennis League match against the Vanguard Double Jeopardy.
The win keeps the Racketeers in position for one of the four playoff positions in the “B” Flight to fight for the right to move up to the “A” Division next year. The last regular-season match is next Tuesday against the Vanguard Volleyers, one of our closest rivals for the playoff spots.
Lineups will be announced Monday.
