Our Customer Service team is made up of a small group of diverse, ambitious and dedicated people that enjoy working in a relaxed atmosphere. We are looking for an enthusiastic, high energy individual who is great on the phone to join this exceptional Customer Service team.
Qualifications would include:
- Exceptional phone skills – this is where you will do most of your work.
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems related to incoming calls and correspondence.
- Active listening skills including the ability to display patience while determining the underlying cause of complaint.
- Strong Attention to detail. Must have follow-up and follow-through skills with a focus on quality.
- Strong writing abilities. This would include email follow-up with customers as well as written notes of customer interactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.
- Have a good working knowledge of PCs
- Ability to work well with others.
Full time people preferred – depending on qualifications, we will discuss part time opportunities. Our customer service hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 to 5:00; no weekends or holiday hours.
Average Salary: $10/hr

Customer Service Professional / Operations Team Member
We are looking for a reliable, full-time customer service representative with the following transferable skills:
· Ability to work well with others within a fast-paced team environment
· Strong customer service skills & excellent phone/communication skills
· Works in close proximity to customers & can handle and resolve customer issues & complaints
· Excellent multi-tasking skills & interest to learn new job duties
· Must be a reliable, team member who is available full-time. (8:30AM -5:30 PM M-F) 37.5 hours per week, an hour lunch break. no weekends or overtime.
· Extremely knowledgeable of customer needs. Good phone skills.
· Must-be resilient & able to field high volume of customer calls
· Provide administrative support & work closely within a large department. Exceptional computer skills.
· Team player
· Previous customer service experience is preferred
Progressive Business Publications (PBP) has the largest and best performing B2B (business-to-business) audio conference team in the country-for the last 8 years.
We have the largest audiences for our events and engage the country’s best subject-matter speakers to put on the highest quality events.
PBP produces over 600 annual audio conferences per year.
There will be extensive training opportunities-to learn multiple rolls. In time, there will also be opportunities to be promoted to the role of an Audio Conference Producer and/or other marketing positions.

Starting rate: $8.00 to $9.00 per hour depending on experience.
