INSIDE SALES / ACCOUNT MANAGER

Successful Promotional Products/Ad Specialty Business-to-Business Gift and Incentive company serving Fortune 1000 firms and many other businesses. We have a strong internet marketing and e-mail marketing presence with core website sales.

Most every company gives these products away as gifts to their employees and as promotions to their customers at trade shows and other events to publicize their companies. Also, at recruiting events etc. Many of our customers have their names and logos printed on our products. We sell promotional items such as, pens, mugs, bags, business card holders, go cups, and thousands of other promotional products.

Currently looking for an in-house Account Manager to:

  • Provide the highest level of customer service to existing customer base.
  • Ability to create new business development and growth with existing customers.
  • Create new business opportunities by making outbound calls/emails to prospects. We provide leads…minimal cold calling.
  • Create marketing/sales campaigns to use as selling tools for lead base.
  • Lead generation through networking and referrals.
  • Must be able to multitask and build internal and external relationships.

NOTE: Training provided. No outside travel involved.

SALES - B2B ONLINE ADS / SPONSORSHIPS

I. Overview:
Extraordinary opportunity for bright, energetic Salesperson who wants to develop and sell b2b online media for our web based ezines and emails. Must have leadership ability, an entrepreneurial spirit and work well in a team environment.

Progressive Business Publications is uniquely positioned to expand our highly successful b2b diversified information company more deeply online. Over the past five years we have successfully launched 6 new significant on-line businesses. We now seek a Sales Person to help accelerate growth in our 7th area – Advertising Based Ezines and Emails.

Sales Person will partner with the PBP Media Sales and Marketing team to understand the origins of the business, the marketplace, the various product offerings including websites/email newsletters and pricing, and begin calling on sales leads and closing sales.

II. Mission:
Sales Person will partner with the PBP Media Sales and Marketing team to help accelerate our launch into the advertising based ezine / email business. Mission is to maximize revenue and earnings over the long term by owning and optimizing the sales for one or more of our websites/email newsletter segments.

It is expected that this business will generate several million of revenue within a couple years. This business is initially broadly defined, recognizing that it has the potential to provide various types of advertising opportunities beyond websites and e-newsletters – e.g., webinar sponsorship, event sponsorship, etc.

III. Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand our different product divisions and how they are aligned.
  • Understand the overall PBP Media business and the specific segments being served.
  • Understand the various advertising opportunities – present and future – and the groups to whom they align.
  • Call into B2B advertising prospects, conduct needs analysis, create proposals, and close sales.
  • Generate new sales leads.
  • Manage accounts closely and proactively to ensure we are delivering on what we sell and are communicating with the client effectively.
  • Accelerate the process of new client acquisition and revenue generation.
  • Interact with sales and marketing teams to help optimize the product offering and maximize profitability.
  • IV. Qualifications:

  • 3-5 year track record of selling online media sales record of generating profitable growth, preferably in a b2b context
  • Understand the Internet and current on-line advertising terminology, models, and workflows.
  • Strong communication skills – email, phone, and in-person.
  • Demonstrated ability to network effectively.
  • Demonstrated willingness and ability to understand market segments, potential advertising motives, and reader communities, and how they can translate to sales opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand client needs and interests quickly and be able to create proposals designed to meet those needs.
  • Ability to effectively understand, contribute to the development of, and then implement sales strategies.
  • Strong multi-tasker who is a creative thinker and has strong analytical skills.

Role, Responsibility and Scorecard

Growth opportunity for bright, energetic individuals with B2B sales and customer service experience to serve as an in-house Enrollment Advisor in our growing Executive Education division. Must have an entrepreneurial spirit and work well in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn Executive Education program content, structure, and sales scripts for all certificate programs including but not limited to:
    • American Center for Educators – Teacher and Administrator Professional Development
    • Progressive Business Institute – Accounts Payable Expert Certification and Administrator Professionals Expert Certification programs
    • Satell Center for Executive Education – Executive Online Mini-MBA
  • Create new business opportunities by making/sending outbound calls/emails to prospects.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service to existing students.
  • Demonstrate ability to cross-sell existing students into additional courses.
  • Create marketing and sales campaigns to use as selling tools for lead base.

Qualifications:
